Movies and Japanese Film Festival

Hello Blog Buddies,

Ramadhan has finally come this year. I am hoping for a better me at the end of the the holy month. And I hope you too!

It has been quite sometimes since I post a story here. Life has been steady, nothing much special has happened since my last post, but I gotta meet funny new people, they give some colors in my life. In addition, my addiction towards movie has gone worse. These days I really enjoy watching psychotic kind of movie. My friends think that I must be sick.

The last movie I watched was Orphan. Actually I almost overlooked the movie since I thought that I should have been able to guess the story of the movie. However, I was glad that the movie has a very good twist, and of course full packed action. I mean, in what other movie you could see a 'little' girl whacking a SISTER with a hammer for like..10 times? The last one I saw was Chucky the 'Good Guy Doll' did it, but it did not do it with a hammer, thou :p.

What I could say, Orphan will be a great show for you, if you enjoy roller coaster. Why? Because it gives you the same exciting rides. The movie was fast but tells a lot of story. The little girl played very well, and I am glad to know that she was really a little girl in her real life. Ha Ha.

I am looking forward for the Japanese Film Festival which will be taking place at National Museum of Singapore starting next week. The Festival will show numbers of Japanese horror and gory movie. One movie that I have been waiting for is Kichiku: Banquet of the Beast. This movie was actually a final project of a group of students. However, the movie turned out to be likable, and in the end they earned a lot from it. The movie is currently out of print, and it is very difficult to be found in the market.

In addition, I just cant wait for the new coming Indonesian movie this October. The movie; Macabre will be the first slasher movie in the history of Indonesian movie. This would be the poster of the movie when it is released in October.

Alright, I'll give you more updates when more awesome movies or awesome happenings are in the corner. In the mean time, do drop me some comments :)
THanks!
Dimas

Hi Blog buddies,

Let's talk a little bit about life. Wait hold on, about what? Life? Let me try to think, what is that? I don't remember I have it for the past few months. I have been to busy to deal with my jobs, and I still do not know where I am heading to.

I now realize that this is not the way it should be. I go back to office every saturday and sunday almost every week. And whenever I do not feel like going, I don't find it is right. I feel like office has become my second home and HELL IT IS NOT RIGHT!

I am thinking now, I have lost few of my friends. It's like playing the PC games; The Sims. The longer you are not socializing with your friends, the more possible for you to lose them. I think I am one of those characters who is busy to build his career but trading it off with love, friends and most importantly; LIFE.

My friends have been teasing me by saying that I have nowhere else to go during weekends and that's why I always come back office. It hurts sometimes, but they are not totally wrong.

Well, I think the problem lies on me. I am not efficient and always think that there is always Saturday and Sunday to settle my problem. From now on, I will work hard during weekdays so that I can taste a piece of life during weekends.

When I went back to my hometown few months ago, I realized that something about myself has changed. I did not talk so much, even to my family. My personality has become less pleasant compared when I was in university last time. I know that life has become more difficult since, but I should not have let whatever emotion and mood from work to have impact on my personal life, for god sake, its my personal life!

So actually this post is an expression of how dissapointed I am with myself, I think I have fail in getting friends and having a good life in Singapore. Let's make a change then.
